It’s still the same friendly, comfortable, civilized place it’s been for nine months. But we now have some new features which we hope you’ll find exciting and useful!
First is this new portal. Think of it as your Glass Haven magazine. You’ll be able to read articles about the Glass Haven members, see what’s going on with the TGH Etsy Street Team, discover glassworking and jewelry videos and more, right here on the front page. It’s a little bare right now, but it will be filled in soon!
Many of you already know about our members-only chat room. We’ll start scheduling occasional chats once the summer busy season ends, but you don’t have to wait until then to use it. Set up a time with a couple of your friends and have some conversation!
Do you have a hard time keeping up with events in the lampworking world? Our calendar of events is coming to your rescue! Use it to keep up with what’s going on where, including classes and special offers from our sponsors.
Finally, there’s our most exciting new feature — the Knowledge Base! If you’re familiar with Wikipedia, this is the same kind of thing, but for lampworkers. Anyone can read articles there, but to edit or contribute you will need to be a forum member with a certain number of posts. Help us build a wonderful one-stop resource for all of us!
